The Council of Multiple Listing Services (CMLS) has published a white paper on NAR MLS Policy Statement 7.42 in response to proposed revisions currently under consideration by an NAR Advisory Board.
As an organization that serves to advance multiple listing services through collaboration, we identified possible changes to the existing policy in order to further support and enrich the national conversation. Using feedback from our membership and Board of Directors to help facilitate discussion, we identified options and explored the benefits and implications of each. This resource is provided as a framework through which to contribute your market experience and expertise to the greater perspective.
The Advisory Board considering revisions meets next week and CMLS encourages our members to review and reflect on the options identified and further enhance the conversation by providing independent comment on the policy revision by submitting to NAR directly at email@example.com.
