Falls Church, Va. — The Houston Association of REALTORS® (HAR) has signed a multiyear license with Remine to bring Big Data and Predictive Analytics to more than 36,000 real estate professionals throughout the greater Houston area.
“Remine will provide agents with powerful new data based tools that will improve the way they provide service to their customers, identify new listings, connect with buyers and stay in touch with their clients,” said HAR Chair, Cindy Hamann.
"It’s a real badge of honor to be working with Bob Hale and the HAR team. Bob is a real visionary of the industry; to have his endorsement means a lot to us," said Leo Pareja, CEO of Remine. "We are excited to bring the Remine intelligence platform to such a forward thinking organization. HAR is a milestone agreement for Remine, bringing us over 200,000 agents under contract via our MLS agreements since the beginning of the year.”
The 200,000 agents, including HAR, will be supported by three real estate technology hires at Remine; Lucie Fortier and Bill Weis formerly of Corelogic and Joel Shears from Lone Wolf. Lucie Fortier will serve as Remine’s VP of Product to oversee product development and MLS implementations. Bill Weis was hired as Director of Data Acquisitions. Joel Shears is a Director of Industry Relations.
“On the heels of our unprecedented success in the MLS industry, we knew we needed a team of pros that can deliver results, and who have the credibility amongst MLS and Broker executives,” said Mark Schacknies, CFO of Remine.
Remine delivers predictive analytics and big data visualizations to real estate professionals exclusively through their MLS. It analyzes property records, transactional history, and consumer data to help real estate professionals identify new leads and win more business.
