CMLS Welcomes Its New Officers And Board For 2017

Council of Multiple Listing Services (CMLS), the professional trade organization that serves the Multiple Listings Services industry across North America, welcomes its new officers and directors for 2017. They were elected in September 2016 at CMLS2016.
Lauren Hansen, CEO of Information and Real Estate Services, LLC (Colorado), is president; David Charron, chief strategy officer of Bright MLS (Maryland), is president-elect; and Chris Carrillo, CEO of Metro MLS (Wisconsin), is secretary/treasurer. All three will serve one-year terms and will be joined by past president Kathy Condon, CEO of MLS PIN (Massachusetts), on the executive team.
New directors include: Brad Bjelke, CEO of UtahRealEstate.com (Utah); Matthew Consalvo, CEO of Arizona Regional Multiple Listing Service, Inc.; Merri Jo Cowen, CEO of My Florida Multiple Listing Service (Florida); and Rebecca Jensen, president and CEO of Midwest Real Estate Data LLC (Illinois).
They join Steve Byrd, CTO at Carolina Multiple Listing Services, Inc. (North Carolina); Gary Connolly, director of multiple listing services and information systems for the Hudson Gateway Multiple Listing Service, Inc. (New York); Tim Dain, MLS director for the Austin Board of REALTORS (Texas); Stephanie Hill, MLS director of the Greater Las Vegas Association of REALTORS (Nevada); David Howe, director of MLS operations at MetroList Services Inc. (California); Carrie Kendall, general manager of Indiana Regional MLS (Indiana); Richard Renton, CEO of Triad MLS Inc. (North Carolina), and Sam Scott, director of information at Houston Association of REALTORS (Texas).
Business partner directors include: newly elected Lucie Fortier, senior director of operations at CoreLogic (British Columbia); Gregg Larson, owner of Clareity Consulting and Clareity Security (Arizona); and Michael Wurzer, president of FBS, creators of Flexmls (North Dakota).
“We are very excited for the year ahead, especially after the 2016 and 2017 boards were able to come together for our strategic retreat in Orlando last November,” said Denee Evans, CEO of CMLS. “We will be building on the direction established last year, moving CMLS toward a future where MLSs will collectively work toward unification, innovation, and a clearly defined intent that will become the keystone for a more efficient marketplace.”
